The Importance of Consistancy

I've been meeting some great people at Fleet Feet Sacramento on J Street. Tuesday nights means a fun run to McKinley park and back. I've been going for about a month now. I'm not fast, yet. But its good to be motivated by other people who are prioritizing their health.

 

Fitness didn't become a priority to me until October of 2011. That month, and subsequently since, I have participated in several races and training regimes to push, and in some people's eyes, punish myself. Hiking as been a fun activity to take up again. And with so many options to choose from in and around the Central Valley here in California, who can I blame for not getting out and enjoying nature.
