Richard Beckermeyer (b. 1981) is a Pittsburgh-based photographer, visual artist, Swiss army knife. He has worked and lived throughout the United States and Argentina, exploring memory, identity, and family. In his work he uses photography, video, and sculpture in search of connection. Being the first on-site marketing communications specialist at Fallingwater proved to be formative in his professional development. The experience sharpened research and writing, while providing a world renowned subject to share with a highly knowledgeable fan base. Recently he has returned to a more analog approach to his process to rediscover the joy of creation alongside his growing toddler.
